Networked Geothermal in new Vancouver, WA development

In response to WA HB 2131 NW Natural identified a new development in Vancouver, WA where the proposed TEN will provide heating, cooling, and domestic hot water to two new mixed-use buildings. These buildings will connect with the existing system at City Hall using an open-loop geo exchange as the thermal loop and an ambient temperature loop for thermal delivery. The new buildings will include approximately 315 residential units and approximately 9,000 square feet of retail space. Construction is expected to begin in mid-2027. Construction costs will be offset in part by federal tax credits and a state grant.
